Day 1 :
Arrive Jaipur at night. Meet our local guide outside the arrival hall at the airport. Check-in at hotel.
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 :
After breakfast visit Amer Fort at 0800 hrs (ascent on elephant’s back one way – optional ride) – the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors.
Thereafter proceed for a tour of Jaipur including a camel ride (optional ride). Jaipur was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja’s City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas.
Late afternoon drive to Agra (256 kms- 5 hrs drive). Arrive and check-in at hotel.
Day 3 :
Just after sunrise visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains (takes around 2-3 hrs to complete the tour).
After breakfast visit The Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience (Takes around 1 hr to complete the tour).
In time transfer to the airport to board flight for onward journey.
